Low Profile Tailgate Spreader is available in 3 models

For the ultimate in convenience and performance, this line of low profile tailgate spreaders provides a clear view from the cab. Low profile spreaders are ideal for spreading #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other de-icing materials. So when you’ve got slippery driveways and parking lots to control, and you don’t want bulky spreaders blocking the view, the difference is clear, with FISHER.

Model 500

 

  • Designed for pickups or SUVs with a Class III trailer hitch
  • Class III receiver hitch mount is standard – no tools required to install or remove spreader
  • 5 cu. ft. capacity polyethylene hopper for long corrosion-free life
  • 12V DC motor inside a sealed housing in the hopper
  • Direct drive steel auger and agitator
  • 10” diameter polyurethane spinner for long life performance
  • Standard nylon ratchet straps for added stability
  • Optional top screen and adjustable deflector

Model 1000

  • 8 cu. ft. capacity poly hopper for long corrosion-free life
  • 12V DC motor inside a sealed housing in the hopper
  • Direct drive steel auger and agitator
  • 10” diameter polyurethane spinner for long life performance
  • Optional top screen, adjustable deflector and truck deflector flap

Model 1000 Mount

Choose fixed mount, dual swing-away mount (shown) or Class IV receiver hitch mounts.

Model 2500

  • Class IV receiver hitch mount is standard
  • 8.5 cu. ft. capacity low-profile high-density polyethylene hopper for long corrosion-free life
  • 12V DC high-torque motor mounted inside a sealed housing in the hopper for corrosion protection
  • Adjustable feed gate with positive material flow shut-off
